I have two THRs that are 18 months old. I'm sure hoping for them to last a

longer period than 16 years. Haven't new technology and materials added to the

longevity of THRs?

Yes Judy new Technology that's been available for the last few years sure

beats what was around 16 years ago. It also depends on the age you were

having it done, and your activity level too.

When I had my shoulder done in Feb at age 55 he told me I would probably

require one more if I live to an old age.
