I'm far more interested in the commercial value of hemp than medical

marijuana (there are natural cures for the pain relieving effects that

medical marijuana is used for).

Allowing the commercialization of hemp could save our entire economy

almost overnight.

That could be very interesting and productive. Hemp is a legal crop here in

Canada. It was first adopted as a food for athletes, lately its become

mainstream and now its available not just in health food stores but also in some

supermarket chains. Some well known professional athletes here have written very

favorable reviews.

As a crop it was a welcome addition for Canadian prairie farmers who already

had the land and the equipment. Its easy enough to grow and its low maintenance.
