Guest guest
Two years ago today I had my right knee replaced. So, how's it going? Terrific! The surgery gave me my mobility (and my life) back. I'm doing everything I was doing before my knee started hurting except running. I CAN run, but the doctor told me not to. I can't overstate how much of a difference this surgery has made to my life. My knee doesn't hurt any more, and the only residual is a little numbness, which I don't imagine will go away (nerves gone are gone) but which I'm noticing less and less. I imagine the brain comes to ignore this non-signal signal. I'm already having to think to remember which knee was replaced. All you folks immediately post-surgery, hang in there! Better days ahead!
