Guest guest
Glutathione and the JNK gene Why do we have such a wide variety of mental disorders, autism, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, obesity, anxiety, stress, insomnia, hormone imbalance, bipolar disorder, cancer, diabetes, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, toxicity from heavy metals like mercury, lead etc., and other conditions in the 21st century? Is the only reason low levels of glutathione? Most of us do need to increase our glutathione levels, because of the above conditions, but is there a factor that is more underlying than glutathione? There is a gene in the body called the JNK gene that is the underlying problem with low levels of glutathione in all parts of the body, including the brain. The JNK Gene The JNK gene is a regulator type of gene and if it is too active or over stimulated, the JNK gene will allow the body to be flooded with toxins. The JNK gene is divided in 3 parts, JNK1, JNK 2 and JNK 3. JNJ 1 and JNK2 will affect all parts of the body except the brain and JNK 3 is a pathway activator of toxins to the brain.Several things will over activate the JNK gene. To name but a few things that over activate the JNK gene; antidepressants, heavy metals, processed foods, and viruses. If the JNK gene is over active, glutathione will need to work overtime and will be low in all parts of the body continually. If the JNK gene were balanced and no longer over stimulated, glutathione would have a chance to remain constant and handle the toxins in the body with ease once again. To make things a little more complex, low levels of glutathione will also stimulate the over activation of the JNK gene. This gives a compounding effect on the body regarding toxins. The goal should be to address the underlying cause of low glutathione levels and bring the JNK gene back in balance once again. Once this happens, a person will probably be able to create enough glutathione from their diet alone. Bring back the JNK gene in balance again and see if you do not lose weight, experience an improvement in mood, memory, brightness, less stressful feelings, sleep better and more. You can actually increase glutathione levels and reduce the activation of the JNK gene at the same time by using a supplement called JNK. Click here. You can also click here and read an interesting article regarding the JNK gene and the role JNK plays in glutathione. The author is on to something. If you are only interested in increasing glutathione levels, please continue reading or continue your search on other web sites. How to Make Glutathione Naturally Within the Body There are several ways a body can manufacture glutathione. It is true it takes 3 amino acids for the body to manufacture glutathione but our bodies can take food, turn the foods into the substance to manufacture the 3 needed amino acids needed to manufacture glutathione. This is also the natural method for a body to create glutathione. As an example, asparagus and watermelon will make glutathione. Eat your veggies and your body will make glutathione. With all of the breaking news regarding glutathione as an antioxidant as well as part of the reason for the development of autism, many supplements manufacturers are suddenly jumping on the glutathione bandwagon. Glutathione is not new to this Web Site. We have been recommending glutathione for the past 10 years to assist individuals to taper off psychotropic medications. One thing that has been overlooked by many is the role of glutathione within the liver as well as the role of glutathione transporting a toxin to the liver. There is considerable more to glutathione than having it in the cells. Increasing intracellular levels of glutathione is critical with drug withdrawal and it is vitally important that any supplement not cause a drug/supplement interaction. The human body has been able to make glutathione naturally forever and has not needed a whey protein or any other substance, other than food, since the beginning of time. Sometimes, an overload of toxins will create the need for an increase of glutathione for the body to balance itself again in a short amount of time. The time it takes to balance the body is the problem for some people. If glutathione remains too low and a continual stream of toxins are poured into the body there is a very good chance the body will need some help. There is so much hype about glutathione products by supplement companies and most of that hype is simply not true.
