I never heard of that association. Where did you read that?

that coconut oil could be a trigger. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I'm almost afraid to take any more coconut oil.

You are having a detox reaction. Almost anything that detoxes you can cause

this. My only migraine experience and symptom is a visual or ophthalmic

migraine. I've had it from other things I've done that involved a particular

essential oil. An oil can loosen something in your system that you are

allergic to, something that was bound in the body before, and cause this. If

you can take the punishment, you'll be much better off to stick with it.

Just go slow. DB

Thanks DB,

The migraines I have are ophthalmic too, but the second one I had since taking

coconut oil also had the lingering headache for about 24 hours.

I'll try it again, a drop at a time :-)
