Guest guest
Thanks for that, Dee. The article considers the topic of ATP energy creation, of which glutathione molecules play a key part, and of brain connectivity, which can be fleshed out with actual stimulus in more than one way. Enter the concept of brain entrainment using Hemi-Sync. AKA binaural beat, this kind of brain entrainment uses tones of somewhat differnt pitch in each ear using a stereo headphone. The difference between these tones isn't really " heard " but rather interpreted by the mind as a beat, which enables better communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. Improved communication between brain parts improves intellect, and also data flow between parts of the brain. Different " beats " tweak different attributes of the subconscious and conscious activity of the brain by enabling communication between parts of the brain. A key point is that theta and alpha states that normally may take 20-25 years to get to naturally on demand with training, can be approached within about five weeks using binaural beat. And it's not so boring, as there are various recording of whales, waves and birds on the seashore, a bamboo flute by the babbling brook, thunder and rainstorms, songbirds in the forest fringe after a rain, that kind of thing to listen to, all with binaural beat underlying the soundscape. I find it's useful to " meditate " using these tracks while in the ozone sauna for example. The other brain thing is a cranial electronic stimulus (CES) device, a " brain tuner " as SOTA calls it. This gadget has been used to stop addiction; a similar " black box " it was derived from was used by a UK doctor to treat heroin addiction in Boy , Moon and many other high-profile people. It is also used in the research to reduce psychotic episodes in psych wards and VA hospitals. One can build or buy them. They deliver low frequency current to the wearer, usually via TENS pads to the bony part behind the ear; the early ones clipped to the earlobes with alligator clips. These are used to kill pain too, and one fella I know used his for dental surgery with no anaesthetic. They aren't so easy to build with around 80 solder points in that tiny box and I'm not sure it did much for me, but I'm not an addict and I've already used the binaural beat CDs for many hours. My IQ was 132-136 as a young adult and my last test was 147 so it might done something, but I'm better at test-taking too, something the IQ tests are supposed to take into account. all good, Duncan
