Guest guest
I had my right total knee done 3/17/08. Rehab. and range of motion had been going fine, but I developed a stress fracture in my right heel about 4 weeks ago, 6 weeks into rehab. Has any one else experienced this? I knew what had happened but I tried to fix it as a soft tissue injury because I couldn't convince the Docs until yesterday that it was a fracture (they could see the callus, or healing bone, on yesteday's x ray). It has been very painful and I have had to stop my rehab. on the knee, except for water exercises. Last year I had corrective toe surgery and after 3 months I had a stress fracture on THAT heel. Doc says I have a lot of arthritis in both feet but not osteoporosis. Do y'all think this is related to the surgery and too much rehab? I am so frustrated. I just had gotten back to full time work (on my feet all day as a PT) and was walking on this thing in pain, and now cannot work for 3 weeks.
