Guest guest
"Hi all- For the last two days I have had a "metallic" taste in my mouth & it's driving me nuts? Doe anyone have any ideas as to the cause?" Hi ne, Have you recently started any new medications? That would be the first place to look, especially if any of them lower your immune response like imuran or pred? I know I get metal mouth when I have a throat infection or something like that. Do you have silver fillings? Mercury (which are the silver fillings) leaks into your system and can cause this also. My final thought (lol ... may be for ever) was your levels of metals in your system like zinc etc. A blood test for biochemical and heavy metal levels in your system would answer that one. Tis all I can think of just now. If I think of anything else I'll let ya know! Love Aisha.

Remeron. It took over a week to totally get rid of the nasty taste, after I stopped taking the drug. If you look up metallic taste or metal mouth on the internet... 95% of the sites you will find will tell you, "it is the beginning of a panic/anxiety attack"... my response to this whether I am reading it, or hearing it from an MD (medical defect) is Bull Shit! Among other things that you can imagine what else I have said to medical defects that have made such statements to me. PMS or Not.... I take pride in telling off medical defects!!!! I hope that helps. My best guess is that it is a medication! Look into where the medications you take break down. Many/Most drugs are broken down in your liver. If you already have problems with your liver, that would suggest to me that you might not get rid of this nasty taste for a while... SORRY!!! Love Always, Anne
Guest guest
OT, but briefly: Can anything be done (besides surgery) for bunions?? Too late for me, but my granddaughter has one, and she's only 13. Nice if there was something else that would help. Thanks, all Judy
