Guest guest
PT is a thrty-some mile round trip for me, and it odes make it harder to work it into my schedule. I live in the mountains and I would never be able to make it up the steep hills around here. Even the kids don't ride bikes here.....they have 4 wheelers. LOL I guess our options are all different, depending on where we live huh. Pat in Pennsylvania Bilateral TKR August 2010 Re: Re: I Think I'm in Trouble - TKR I pushed PT after the knee replacement. I asked both the doctor and the therapist for additional exercises and did all I could to the extent the therapist told me after two weeks I no longer needed her. The doctor recommended daily bicycle rides of an hour or more. One month after the replacement I was fighting a brush fire behind the house and dragging hoses up and down a slope. Now I am in a different part of the country, the Missouri Ozarks. As far as I know there are no decent places around here to ride and as I hope to have the replacement after summer, the rivers and lakes will be too cold. I am looking for an indoor pool I can use. Even then the closest will be about 30 miles away. -- Don Bowen KI6DIU http://www.braingarage.com/Dons/Travels/journal/Journal.html [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Be your own advocate!
