Guest guest
Thanks for your response. Its very interesting. I am undecided because Im still weighing up the current effect it has on my life and my family's life, versus my concern of doing it too soon given my age. The main reson I am delaying at the moment is because I am 6 months out and still recovering from a PAO in the other hip, so its not ready to support me on its own just yet. The second reason is that I guess I thought you had to basically be crawling into the OS begging for one. That you had to wait as long as you can, especially given my age. While theres no cartilage left and cysts and spurs etc everywhere (my OS said its like a square peg in a round hole, no wonder its locking up), Im not taking any meds stronger than Panadol (is that = Tylenol in US?) at the moment, and the pain is still managable. Or am I just used to it/changed my routine to suit? Perhaps. Hopefully you are right and vocalising it will help me make a decision. Thank you. > > I think the reason why it is so " personal " is that everyone is willing > to put up with different degrees of restrictions.
