Yes anything to do with the hip being worn or Diseased, can cause all

sorts of problems with gait, your knee and even your back.

last year I had 4 shoulder surgeries and each time my back was killing me after

I had been on their beds for a few hours, the pain in my back was worse than the

pain of the shoulders, then last November,my replaced hip kept dislocating so I

had a revision, no back pain, had my other shoulder done last week, no back

pain.

so yes it can cause all sorts of problems.
