Guest guest
Thanks--I did have one question after watching the report. I thought the Congressional committee had ruled or determined there was not a link. The report said they ruled there was a link?
Guest guest
Hello everyone, Please forward and post this email freely to any appropriate lists or autism awareness/prevention resources. As many of you know, Fox 5 in New York City www.fox5ny.com broadcast an EXCELLENT report on Monday, February 14th, 2005, regarding the real and significant dangers of Thimerosol in vaccines. Many of you have already seen this report, which can be viewed at the following link: www.tworks.com/fox5.htm To increase awareness and help families avoid Thimerosol in vaccines, many of us would like our local Fox news stations to broadcast this segment. This email notes how this may be accomplished. Fox 5 in New York has been overwhelmed with calls asking them to broadcast their report " Dangerous Vaccines " to local affiliates. The producer said she has never received such an enormous response to one special report and they have made the story available to other Fox stations. If parents would like this story aired in their area, they need to contact their own local Fox news station and ask the program manager to broadcast the story done by Fox 5 WNYW on Monday, February 14, 2005. When speaking with your local Fox station, it might be helpful to mention the huge response received at FOX 5 New York, and let them know that the story has replayed 5 times throughout the week. Please give your local station the telephone number for Fox 5 (212-452-3808) so that s/he can verify that this has been a very well-received story. Fox 5 has expressed appreciation regarding all the calls it has received in response to this story, but Fox 5 has no control where or when it airs. Fox 5 New York will replay the report, for the 5th time, on Saturday, February 19th at 10:30 pm, as part of a special health segment. It is my understanding that the Fox affiliate in Cleveland, Ohio plans on broadcasting this story. Those in the Cleveland area can contact their station for programming times. Guest guest
- Wasn't thermisol supposedly taken " off " the market in 1999? The only Doctors that would allow that in their practices since then would be exposing themselves legally. Why does this thermisol thing keep coming up? Please help me understand this. Patti " R. Guest guest
Thimerasol was only stopped being put into shots (new ones) in late 2001. The study was done in 1999. BUT, there was NEVER a recall on the existing shots that we already on the shelves. Remember...it's a PRESERVATIVE meant to give it longer shelf life and the ability to be more cost effective. Because there was NEVER a recall, there is no liability. But thousands of us had it injected into our children way after the fact. How would we know which were new shots versus old ones? They'd like you to believe that because it was not being put into NEW shots since late 2001 that it's no longer a factor...BUT it is STILL used in the FLU VACCINE and who knows if it's still in some older shots sitting on the shelves, especially in poorer areas. Patti Patti, Thimerasol was not taken out until approx. 2002 and is still included in childhood flu shots. Here is a link to a tv interview that really really nails the issue: JB Handley Interview or http://homepage.mac.com/rogereng/Autism/iMovieTheater24.html -BJ in polis, MD
