I know what you mean! I'm leaving for the hospital in about 45 minutes!

Oh my. This is getting serious. My surgery is

7:30am. Wish me

luck. I am having a hip replacement but feel like I'm about to jump

off a cliff. I can't wait until I'm on the other side of this.

I was so excited about getting the knee fixed I looked forward to it. I had a very positive experience. Because I livealone, I did go to a rehab for 10 days before going home. That too was a great experience, everyone was wonderful. Well not everyone, I had two nurses at the rehab I voice complaints about. :) But over all was a positive experience. "It came to me that every time I lose a pet they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new pet who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be an animal, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." --- rfremon@... wrote:From: " Fremon" <rfremon@...><Joint Replacement >Subject: RE: 8 hours to goDate: Fri, 4 Jan 2008 07:19:40 -0500Best wishes Eleanor – By the time you read this you will be on the road to recovery. Thank you. I am now on the other side, let's say the 7th day of the

rest of my life. The surgery went well, I couldn't have asked for

more. The surgeon did a fabulous job and I am pain free, not even

the incision. I just have to walk with a walker for now and have to

limit the weight that I put on it.

I went to Gregg Klein at the Hartzband group in NJ. I can't speak

highly enough of him. I was at Hackensack hospital and they were

amazing. When I woke up in the recovery room, my head was

perfectly clear and my daughter and sister were allowed in. Iam so

grateful.
