Guest guest
Duncan: Great. And thanks indeed for removing my confusions as usual. So, can I totally stop whey (because I am sensitive to it) and yet I will be able to build up intracellular glutathione if I continue using L-Cystine, coconut milk, spirulina and some eggs, fish, chicken? I read vitamin D also increases the intracellular glutathione. -------------- Ratan Singh, Phone: 91 141 2652561, mail: ratanpsych@... - Certificate in Food & Nutrition; Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education; Life Member, Nutrion Soc. My family uses organic RBD coconut oil because of the mild flavour. L-cystine is fine; take a look at the liver function article for more liver support information using other foods and supplements: http://members.shaw.ca/duncancrow/liver_function.html Yes you should totally avoid soya; it's thyroid-suppressive and carcinogenic. all good, Duncan > > Dear Duncan: > > Here in India we have both the thick type edible coconut oil and the thinner (refined?) organic edible coconut oil. I can't eat much of the thick type but I can easily take the thin type. Is the thin type fine? > > Secondly, I remember your emphasis on un-denatured whey to generate glutathione inside the cells. But I have got to finally accept that I am sensitive to milk so much that I can't tolerate whey. Its not about caseine because whey doesn't have it. Its my sensitivity. I get sneezes, runny nose and water in eyes, general fatigue and low energy if I drink beyong one tablespoon of whey in a day. > > So, for the purpose of glutathione can I just take free form L-Cystine (double bond L-cysteine=cysteine) and for the remaining amino acids I can take spirulina or sugar free soya milk? > > Should I totally avoid soya? > > Thanks in anticipation of your reply. > Ratan. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >
