Dear Friend of ASO:The Autism Society of Ohio is proud to present our 2005 Bi-annual Conference "Reaching Beyond the Horizon - Challenging the Autism Spectrum", Friday and Saturday, October 14-15, 2005 at the Kingsgate Marriott in Cincinnati, Ohio. We have two terrific keynote speakers - Dr. Vince Carbone on Friday and Dr. Grossi on Saturday . Dr. Carbone is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will speak on using verbal behavior techniques, even with the most challenged learners. Dr. Grossi is the Director of the Center on Community Living and Careers, Indiana Institute on Disability and Community, Indiana University and will be speaking on Vocational Training and Opportunities for persons with autism - even those that might be difficult to place. For more information on Dr. Carbone visit www.drcarbone.net, on Dr. Grossi, visit www.indiana.edu/~iuncate/facultyvita/tgrossi.html. Both are nationally recognized in their fields.

There will be many additional speakers including the popular panel of persons with autism and Sondra - an ASO board member and person with autism. Her session was one of the most popular at our last conference.

We will be sending out more information regarding the conference in the months ahead. If you would like to receive conference information in the mail, please send your name and address, including email to askASO@... with FOR MAILING LIST in the subject line.
