Guest guest
like I also had one shoulder done as a reverse shoulder, the other is a normal replacement. Jeff also had a reverse shoulder. where do you get your bras from, ? I have the worst trouble getting dressed as I can't lift the arm that has the reverse shoulder The other arm is a good as any one else's I can lift it put it behind my back etc. Its my right arm that is the problem, and I had my reverse shoulder done beginning of December 09 and I can't use it any more than if they left the other one in that didn't work. due to the tendons coming off the bone. my only advice about a shoulder is don't do it until its absolutely necessary, and you are miserable. x -- Re: Shoulder Replacement In a message dated 8/10/2011 10:13:01 P.M. I came off of a horse and broke my shoulder and they couldn't put me back together so that's what they did. All that I can tell you is that it's not fun but I had a lot more to heal up from than just the shoulder replacement. I had the surgery on April 11th and I'm still in therapy but they say I'm doing exceptional for what I've been through. Sooo, I'm not sure if I'm a good one to talk to, but if it's like the knee replacements and it's affecting your life I to a great extent I would do it. I'm not sorry I had my knees done at all. If you want I can send you some links that I found about shoulder replacements, even one online I think that shows them doing the surgery. They did the reverse total replacement on me because I had so much damage and they said it would give me more movement. The only thing they said that I shouldn't do is to hook my bra in the back. I just got front hooking bras. Tell me if you have any questions though, I can hopefully help.
