ASD may be preventable and even treatable if we understand the multiple causes of the “systemic failure†that brings it about.At Body Ecology our goal is to teach parents, who have or are thinking about putting their children with GI issues, autism etc. on GF/CF diets, to move to another level. The Body Ecology Diet was originally created to reverse fungal infections including Candidiasis (often present in children with autism and children who have been on antibiotics), so it is a great start. Beside having no gluten or casein, it is also free of sugar and bad fats and adds new ideas about the value of fermented and cultured foods

Statistics support that over 47% of those diagnosed with ASD have gut issues lying deep within the intestinal walls. If we fully recognize the value of the amazing “subculture†of microflora that our intestinal tract is designed to support, we may discover a key to preventing or healing these disorders.The inner ecosystem of a child’s body is critically related to immune system function. It’s this inner ecosystem that will determine the effectiveness of the child’s immune system and ability to digest nutrients and remain free of toxins, thus affecting quality and even length-of life.

Many infants begin life with the added disadvantage of inheriting, from their parents, weakened adrenals and congested livers. A child may seem healthy, but the stage may be set for autism, asthma or immune based disorders. A series of vaccinations containing toxins can add to the result - a brain and nervous system that stops functioning as they should.
