Guest guest
Hi all! I had the hip aspiration done on Wednesday in Toronto and well it freaking hurt I expected to be totally numb or something from the supposed freezing they used - yeah it started working about five minutes after they injected it *snort*. Anyway I didn't watch it being down can handle needles just don't care for seeing them if you know what I mean. Even got to see the sample they removed I always thought that the fluid around the joint was supposed to be clear (at least that is what I understood from all the sites I checked out - maybe I was wrong). Anyway the sample wasn't a clear liquid/fluid at all well it was clear but redish clear like someone had added some blood to half a glass of water color). Anyway I know have a week or so to find out the results the surgeon who did it told me (it wasn't mine). I am a little nervouus abour the results but at the same time I hope they find something because I really can't go on like this much longer. My surgeon also asked for more blood work he did it just a month ago last time I saw him so hopefully he thinks/knows something is up. Sorry about the tmi I know I am bad like that lately anyway. ~Contessica left hip replacement, second time done July 2009 , was fused once upon a time.
