Hi ,

Welcome to the group, you will get lots of expert advice, mine is only basic

As I had my knee done 15 years ago, and I have just had a hip done.,

Don't be brave, take your pain meds on a regular basis.,

Try elevating the leg often too. You are doing the right thing with ice in

the early days.

And keep doing your PT.

Hi,

Just stopping by to say hello. I had total knee replacement three weeks

ago and was looking for a support group. Im a tough old farm wife but this

has been a tought one for sure. I got my staples out today and knee is hot

and swelled up tonite , so back to the ice pack.

Im getting around and 92 degree motion and pt says everything is lookin

good. Just have these episodes like restless legs and just wont quit. Any

ideas on how to get through these painful episodes. May you feel free to ask

for support in anyway i can.

thanks, linda in montana
