Hello all,

I am 68 years old and have been told that I need THR, possibly on

both sides. However, I have had the same experience as another

poster had...I felt I was being rushed into surgery without trying

anything else.

So I did some research and came up the Anterior Hip Replacement

Surgery. I live in Southern California and what appears to be the

foremost location for this surgery is in Santa Moncia.

Here is the main question I have. How do I go about getting a

referral to this medical group? I have Medicare/Secure Horizons.

If I go out of network (which I will have to do) can I expect Secure

Horizons to pay for at least some of the procedure.

Thanks for any help/information you can give.

Judy
