Guest guest
Hi n, Sorry I couldn't come to your last chat. I've been swamped lately. Everyone here is doing fine. Reece isn't sleeping again so he often doesn't wake up for school. If I get him to wake up, he falls asleep by the afternoon. So we are working on that and i'm EXHAUSTED. I have 3 kids with MFE's due this spring so I will be crazy soon. I can only multi-task two of my kids at a time. Oh well. Hope everyone else is hanging in there. What is everyone doing for Autism awareness month? Our group, ASK, got tons of miniature candy bars and stuck autism "factoids" on them for teachers. Then we fill a basket and take them to our local schools for the teacher's lounges. Teachers get a sweet treat and an autism fact to read, hopefully a win-win situation. Roxanna kneeleee@... Guest guest
That is a really great idea Roxanne with the mini candy bars! I was just thinking of a new design for kid tee shirts yesterday. and a tee shirt for adults on the back it would give a "do you know" the early signs of autism facts for people to read while you stand in line at the grocery store........hey...i wonder if that would be good. ~ n kneeleee@... writes: Hope everyone else is hanging in there. I made a little sign to hang on the basket saying, "April is Autism Awareness Month Please take one!" then we take them to teacher lounges. Roxanna kneeleee@...
