Ahh....it tells me that you are getting a bit too close to REDNECKdom.

A DANGEROUS state to be in.

You tend to have conversations about how many quarts you got (and you aren't

talking 10/40.)

You say things like, " come on girls " and your daughters are nowhere in sight,

but 45 hens come running to you.

You find yourself enjoying your milking time cause you can say your piece and

no one talks back!

You threaten restriction....for not giving enough eggs.

But the WORST is when you are walking around the back acre saying, " OK, now

where did you hide them. I am getting sick and tired of having to go all

over looking for your eggs. You've got perfectly good nesting boxes, but do you

use them? OH NO! You have to leave them all over the place. Now WHERE are

those eggs!!!!! "

Ok. You get the picture. I think ... I need....to get out a bit more??

Boy, talk about a punishment! The kitchen is definitely one for me, and

unfortunately, my family as well. Not my strong area, nor my favorite.

Yesterday, I had been doing some cleaning, rushed to get ready for piano.

Took her to piano, told we were rushing home so I could change clothes,

then would go back to get , go pick up the speaker for our support group,

then go to town for the support group meeting. She asked what time we

would get home, I said 8:30. In a very small voice, said " What about

dinner? I'm kind of hungry " . Oops, forgot about that minor detail (Mike had a

business dinner and wasn't going to be home). So we added McD's to the list.

So I am really, really, really ready to go to my room. With wine and chocolate.

Sharon,

So glad to hear that I'm not the only one who gets those reminders from my

kids that they need dinner!!!!

You may guard the door any time, especially when you bring chocolate. Do I

have to share the chocolate? And as for using crayons on the walls, please

do not bring any crayons or anything else work related with you!!! I work

with little ones all day, so crayons and bubbles are definitely banned!!

Hi , well, once again, I am amazed how in every positive, someone can

find a negative. I'm sure the person that wrote you is just as well intentioned

as you were in making your post. Personally, I thought your advice was good

because we all can be misinformed by well meaning people instead of going to

the professionals that are trained to answer some important questions.

I am sure that misinterpretation of our intentions is always going to be a

part of email because it has the drawback of the person not seeing the face of

the person talking nor hear the voice to know what their feelings are. I've

had more than one feeling misinterpreted via email.

Keep posting! We all add information that is helping to various people!

good grief julie!! you didnt say anything that dr walsh and other

doctors didnt agree with!! at least when i talked to dr walsh at the

picnic, we both agreed that it is very worrisome - especially when

people have a serious problem and then post it to the board-- often

under some subject line that has nothing to do with their concern!!

by the time one of the doctors sees it (nestled among 600 emails)

there is a possibility that a serious problem could become something

tragic!!

you didnt do one thing wrong. i have seen people post about chest

pains!! ...and if the moderator is on vacation..... geeeez!!! i

dont even want to think about it! sure that is extreme but that kind

of thing can happen.

you did fine.... i say let common sense prevail!

you are a doll and everyone here should be honored that you take

the time to be an advocate for them.

MY opinion!

Without a measure of humor in life, what is life really worth? I enjoyed your posting immensely. As expected, Cheryl (and all of us) received proper answer to her concerns, so I do not see the harm.
