Guest guest
Ring the surgeon. It may still be part of the healing process. Let us know. As most of you know, I had a shoulder revision done 11 weeks ago, starting 2 weeks ago, I have had pain in that shoulder which reminds me of rotator cuff inpingement. The only thing I can think of was, I cleaned the car 2 weeks ago which was 9 weeks post op, after doing that it felt sore, like I have over done it. !!! so I ignored it and rested it more, but it hasn't gone away. I can't lift my arm out to the side without pain but I can do it, and I can't do internal rotation without pain. so what the heck have I done? we have a 5 day holiday here because of Easter and Anzac day. but I do have an appointment with my GP,on Wednesday, as I need a new referral for the Hip man. or do I just ring the surgeon. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry reply so late. I had a vey similar experience with my shoulder after the replacement and fortunately it was nothing but a slight setback from overuse. I had exactly the same type of pain and couldn't lift my arm at all. I went back to os who did an x-ray and everything was fine. A few days later the pain was gone and I was back to being pain free. Of course I have no rotator cuff so it couldn't be an impingement. All that being said I think you should call the os as soon as you can and go see him. Good luck, Jeff ________________________________ From: marywaspe2000 <maryanne.waspe1@...> Joint Replacement Sent: Sat, April 23, 2011 11:58:09 PM Subject: I need some advice. Guest guest
Anzac is an acronym for Australia New Zealand Army Corp. So Anzac Day is their equivalent of our Memorial Day. > > , am I going to have to come all the way down there and kick your butt? > And by the way, what is Anzac?
