Total Knee Replacement on March 3

Had TKR on March 3rd--my 2nd knee--my first TKR was Sept.23'10. First knee went

really --2nd not as easy--but I am coming along. My question-I am having little

pain in the surgical site--but I am getting perpheral pain down the side of my

calf and down to the arch of my foot--anybody have this problem? I am still

exerciosing every day--and that seems to aggrate it--but if I don't exercise my

knee stiffens right away. Any information would be helpful. Surgeon said

healing is going well - told him about pain down my leg into my foot - he said

swelling is causing pressure on the nerve and when swelling goes down the pain

should stop - any comments?
