Hi Barb,

Most shoulder replacements are done due to arthritis like the hip & knee but a

reverse is done when there is no rotator cuff so my pain was when I tore the

rotator cuff which the pain usually is right at the very top of the arm.

You might want to have that checked out.

Jeff

Subject: shoulder questions

Jeff, when you first had shoulder pain which eventually necessitated your

shoulder surgery, where was it located?  Is there a specific place like

there

is for a hip replacement.  Hip replacement pain is always in the groin area.

Back pain is usually not caused by the hip......

My right arm is beginning to hurt a lot.  It is about  2 to 4 inches down

from here the arm starts rounding out from the shoulder.......comment?
