Guest guest
Severe Ulcers to the Esophagus To Rapid Recovery Hyperbarics, Last September of 1999 I began experiencing Chest and Back pains for unknown reasons. It especially hurt when I swallowed and began to increase in intensity as time went by. After seeking medical advice, I was given an endoscopy of my esophagus. Photographs images revealed I had a severe Ulceration of my esophagus. So severe that they thought it could be something far more serious. I was told I had to begin immediately a large dosage of strong prescription medication to stop the Acid Content in my stomach. Since there were so many side effects with the medications I decided to try a different approach to heal and get well. Thank God I found HBOT treatments. After a series of 20 sessions I went back to my Doctor to get re tested with the endoscope of my esophagus with photo’ s Praise God, My new endoscopy revealed that my large ulcers had healed completely and I was pain free! The Doctor and his staff that re tested me were so shocked. I can not thank you enough for my Rapid Recovery! Sincerely, T. Guest guest
Saul, If one has the sauna at home, approximately how much does it actually cost to run the equipment for a treatment? jim Saul Pressman wrote: > > Dear Edith, > > Ozone sauna treatments vary from $25 to $45 > > Best of Health! > Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh > ----- Original Message ----- ----- carpe diem, carpe pucunia, carpe femina. -- Jim Lambert jlambert@... http://www.entrance.to/madscience http://www.entrance.to/poetry
Guest guest
Dear Jim, Let's see: sauna : 1000 watts for 1/2 hour = .5 kilowatt-hours x $0.10 = $ .05 generator = 10,000 volts x 23 milliamps = 230 watts = .230 kilowatts for 1/2 hour =.115 kw-h x $0.10 = $ .0115 oxygen = 1/2 l/m x 30 minutes = 15 liters. Tank holds 675, so that is 45 saunas per tank. A tank fill usually costs about $15 - $20, so say $0.40 for oxygen. So that part is about $ 0.46. Also: water for boiler = 4 cups x $0.10 per cup = $ 0.40 water to wash 3 towels = 12 cups x $ 0.10 per cup = $ 1.20 soap to wash towels = say $ 0.25 For this part , $1.85 Grand total = $ 2.31 Depreciation is not figured in. Say the sauna lasts five years and you do five saunas per week. That is 1250 saunas. So depreciation cost on the sauna would be less than $2 per session. Since the generator doesn't wear out, there is no depreciation cost. Best of Health! Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh Re: Re: Healing > Saul, > > If one has the sauna at home, approximately how much does it actually > cost to run the equipment for a treatment? > > jim > > Saul Pressman wrote: > > > > Dear Edith, > > > > Ozone sauna treatments vary from $25 to $45 > > > > Best of Health! > > Dr. Saul Pressman, DCh > > ----- Original Message ----- > ----- > carpe diem, carpe pucunia, carpe femina. -- Jim Lambert > > jlambert@... http://www.entrance.to/madscience > http://www.entrance.to/poetry > > > OxyPLUS is an unmoderated e-ring dealing with oxidative therapies, and other alternative self-help subjects. > > THERE IS NO MEDICAL ADVICE HERE! > > This list is the 1st Amendment in action. I'm wondering if you could do some on my mother Elise. The problem is her lungs. She may have cancer and will not subject herself to a lung biopsy as she is 88 and knowing may shorten her life. I also am interested in learning proxy BSFF in your workshop. I realize now that I know very little about BSFF and want to learn more. I'm also interested in learning how to eliminate my desire for junk food using BSFF. So there is much for me to learn from you. Am so looking forward to your workshop. Guest guest
I agree Ken. I don't mind discussing even though we have such diverse beliefs. I also agree on the psycho-somatic effects, the brain is a wonderous machine that does more than we will ever know. I have a friend that practices Reiki...she is a Master...and seems to really help people. On the other hand I have another friend that went to a pshycic healer and he " pretended " to pull the cancer out of her body. She died July 31st. So much for his power to heal. There is, in many cases I think, an emotional and/or psycho-somatic effect which is genuine. Temporarily. Of course, when these people are followed up later, and doctors are interviewed, it's quite clear that nothing physical actually happened (or there was nothing actually wrong in the first place). The CBC (Canadian broadcast corp.) recently did an excellent documentary/exposé of all of that. But, if a weekly session of whatever nature actually makes people feel better, even for a while, Samters or otherwise, and it does no harm (either by commission or omission), then go for it. -- Ken West Check the library . . . samters/links

Guest guest
Trudy, She does this through God, Mother God, and the angels. I didn't want to mention that earlier as I wasn't sure how it would be received. I also do alot of meditation and ask for guidance and freedom from this disease. I've had a lot of experiences with out of the ordinary phenomenon which is what really made me believe in another higher power. I'll just say it, I've seen two ghosts, I've had preminitions, I get visits from my deceased father and boyfriend, I see angel numbers all the time, I've got a tape of earthbound spirits leaving the earth as my sister told them to go to the light, which you can quite clearly hear them, etc. It's hard for people who have never experienced any of these things to understand and most people would think I was crazy. I personally know that I am not. Ken, I can see you rolling your eyes! (Humor). Tami in wis Re: healing Are you talking about using Reiki? Or Pshycic healing? Guest guest
I agree with you to a certain degree. My problem is that almost all things that are discussed on this website for treatment have to do with steroids, whether by pill, or nasal spray. I'm so incredibly jealous of those who can use these things to reduce the inflamation in their head and so much revolves around these meds. I'll keep the ghosts to myself though. Ken just so you know, I love seeing emails from you on this site. I'm usually never offended by things you say, just glad you said it and I didn't. (humor). But may I say, if there is anyone who is on the spritual side of healing who may have some possitive information for me, you can email me personally @ tami@.... Have a great day! I will. Guest guest
Hi Tami, I've been following these emails and wondering whether to mention anything or not - I think I will :->. When I first joined this group I was interested whether anyone else had experienced any spiritual experiences, healing or otherwise, as a result or Samters. I do appreciate that Ken is a moderator and was keen to keep the discussion in check - also he asked me for my explaination of the soul/spirit, which I felt I really could not do without mentioning God/The Source, or whatever one wants to call the creator. So I didn't! Plus the fact that I really do get a lot of info and peace of mind from this group, so I don't want to be taken off :-] I've trained as a spiritual healer here in Britain with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers - I've done levels 1, 2, 3 and 4, but have not taken it any further and do not practice as a healer for money. What I have learn't I apply for myself, family and friends. I also work with crystals and Angels which give me enormous peace of mind and help me keep my sanity (or so I think!) Basically, it works for me. But am I cured - well, I still have Samters, but it doesn't get me nearly as down as I used to be, so it definately helps as a coping mechanism, something to fall back on when all else fails. It also makes life much more interesting and exciting for me, which is a great side effect of Samters considering the restrictions and limitations this disease can put on our bodies and lives. There are many people out ther who claim far more than they can achieve. In fact, if they claim to "perform healing", then be suspicious, because the true healers are the ones who realise they are just acting as channels for the healing energy that is around us all the time. If you can find someone you trust and are happy with Tami, then great - let us know how you get on. Also, healers can and do enormously help people who are terminally ill and dying, not by miraculously making them better (although this can happen), but by easing their transition. That's all I'll say for now on here, because I appreciate we're meant to be keeping things medical. But, if we can open our minds and our hearts to the possibilities out there then we may be able to overcome some of the restrictions this disease places on us. Becky PS I'm happy to continue this discussion privately. Good luck!Tami Klumpyan <tami@...> wrote: I agree with you to a certain degree. Guest guest
I don't think you are alone in your beliefs or experiences, I just think people are very private about this stuff because of skeptics. I have some " out there " beliefs too and only share those mostly with my friends and family. I believe things aren't always as they appear and in studying I find I am not so very off in what I thought. I can share with you that for years I asked for freedom from disease, then finally realized I was asking the wrong thing. I then asked for acceptance, peace, understanding, and the weight of the emotional turmoil was lifted. We never know why we are given the trials we are, usually to help ourselves, but mostly to help others. Guest guest
Like Ken I too am a " stark raving atheist " and since us non- believers are truly in the minority felt somewhat compelled to chime in. I would agree entirely that the beneficial effects an individual experiences as a result of prayer, spiritual healing, etc. are completely psycho-somatic. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. There is fairly strong scientific proof that maintaining a healthy, happy and postive attitude and outlook can help people overcome sickness and disease. However, the issue I personally have with the aforementioned approaches to healing is the total inconsistency of the cause and effect. For instance, an infidel like myself couldn't be happier since over the last several months I've been holding up with this Samter's condition quite well. Smell and taste has been consistently at about 80% and the sinuses fairly clear; yet I would never consider resorting to prayer or spiritual healing. However, another Samterite may feverishly pray to a diety for relief of their burden and never receive it only to torture themselves with guilt and shame for not having their prayers answered. Another person may experience relief after prayer or spiritual healing sessions and attribute their success to that. Yet another " believer " may experience an acute worsening of their condiditon and attribute it to being punished for their sins, etc. I would venture to guess that " non-believers " statistically experience good fortune and misfortune at the exact same rate as do " believers. " Billions of people have been praying for thousands of years for the same things; wars to cease, ending violence and crime, cessation of hunger and disease, on and on and on. And guess what, is hasn't happened yet. If someone was up there listening you would have thought they would have answered by now. My apologies in advance if anyone is offended, but just wanted to express an alternative opinion which is rarely heard (especially here in the " Bible Belt " of the deep south!) Regards to all, Mike (FL) > If religion or faith helps people get through the day, then it's OK with me > that it's discussed herea, even though I'm a stark raving atheist. > > I have previously posted some thoughts on psycho-somatic effects, and this, > I think, is the same thing, for practical purposes. > > (Let's just not get into discussions on the existance of god, etc. etc. . ) > > -- > Ken West > Check the library . . . > samters/links > > > From: Tami Klumpyan <tami@p...> > > Reply-samters > > Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2005 12:53:44 -0600 > > <samters > > > Subject: healing > > > > I know we are not supposed to speak of religion on this web site, but what > > about spiritual healing. Do you think it > could if so what would your set up statements be? > Even though it was a stupid thing I did to break my wrist, I deeply and completely love and accept myself, all of me, anyway. Even though I have this pain and its overwhelming, it's okay I can love and accept myself anyway. Even though I cannot control this pain, and I like to be in control, it's okay, I can love and accept myself anyway. Even though this pain is slowing me down, it's okay, I deeply and completely love and accept myself anyway. I am now releasing all the anger and frustration that I am holding in my wrist. I don't choose to punish myself any longer. Whatever reason I created this challenge, I really don't need to feel the pain as my wrist to heal. I really would like this pain to disappear. I choose to let this pain go. I deserve to let this pain go. I allow myself to let this pain go now. I now allow myself to release this pain. Even though I feel inadequate, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I have fear of being dependent, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I have fear of disability, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I am afraid of limitation, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I want to get over this wrist pain now, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I need this pain, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. Even though I needed the trauma that produced this pain, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. I ask my body to please heal my wrist and quickly and painlessly as possible. I set myself free.
