Guest guest
Hi all, I was in the grocery store today and ran across a coconut product I have never seen before. I found it in the juice aisle and it's called organic fresh pressed coconut. Naturally I had to try it and it's delicious - no doubt due to the fact that other juices are added for flavor (all also organic). I'm curious if anyone else has found this as I live in Florida and notice the company who makes it is in Miami and this product may be quite new. Here is the nutrition label if anyone is interested: serving size is 4 oz. calories 50 total fat 1g sodium 2mg potassium 210mg total carbs 10g dietary fiber 2g sugars 8g protein .5 g as far as vit/minerals go it provides 25% manganese - there's some interesting info on manganese here: http://tinyurl.com/5r2g8g In additiion there are no fillers, no sweeteners, and no additives. I'm sure Alobar will object to this product for diabetics but it does make a nice low cal treat for those who are not :-) Best, Dee
