Guest guest
Hello again everyone....I've been silently trying to heal the last couple of weeks, and felt I should check in. I've had a rather difficult time of it lately; not the Hip...it's great, already no cane, no crutches, and I've been driving for almost 2 weeks! All that being said, what has been really awful for me is: my right shoulder/neck from the walker and crutches during the first week. UGH! I'm telling you this as a follow up to all the recommendations for pre-op exercises; take care of the upper body as well. I didn't, except for a 1 time per week yoga class. I have an appointment with my OS tomorrow to find out what's going on in there, and what can be done about it.HMMMMM? Also, my 4 yr old spent a week next to me with fever and cold, my second week home, and now I have a deep annoying drippy hacking cold! There's a reason that 60 somethings don't have young children who pick up every bug going around, and that seems like endless these days! Exercise, stay healthy, and here's to the new hips! That part is fantastic!
