Hi all! I thought I wouldn't be popping up here until the next time I

see my surgeon - sometime in June but I saw my family doctor today to

see about testing for sciatica (sp?) due to the pain and issues not

letting up. Anyway after I got the news that my hip aspiration showed no

signs of infection I decided to let up and get my hair cut - haven't had

it done in two years and to see red riding hood with my sister - I got

stuck in the theatre and the paramedics were called and the er

department took xrays but said nothing looked out of the ordinary and

sent me home with more pain killers.

Anyway at my family doctor appointment today he got the report from

those xrays of a doctor who examined them after I went home who noted

that the cup had what looked like an old crack on it but since it looked

old he didn't comment on it. My surgeon has not once said anything about

cracks the last few times I saw him actually he said everything looks

good no cracks or loosening appears to be showing up. So I was a little

confused by what my family doctor told me so he is sending the xrays

plus a copy of the report with a note from him to the surgeon and booked

me for a bone scan. The only way he could think of the crack is if it

started deep and just came to the surface sometime in the past month

since I last saw my surgeon and he did xrays.

I am a little confused and frustrated by the whole I was wondering if

anyone has gone through something similar.

I agree with . Keep on to it. I am thinking on the lines that something

doesn't line up properly the placement is all wrong. And its only time

before it rears its head.
