Guest guest
> I did not know this was one of the rules or i would not have posted it! Loads of people ignore the home page and Welcome message of the lists they join - even I'm guilty of doing that now and then. Don't worry about it. So tell us a little about yourself - especially your dieting history. It sounds like you're very frustrated with your past attempts or else you wouldn't even be thinking of that other thing. Take a look at the post I just posted to for some helpful starting points. And take a gander at our Links and Files pages, too. You might find something there to help you, too. Welcome to the list! Use the prayer for finding lost objects and see if the password will come to you. Then let us know what happened. Here is the link, and the prayer, because you can't use the link if you don't have the password. http://www.immunics.org/colleague/skill04/magiclost.htm Magic prayer for lost items Divine spirit of my higher self, instantly, now, lead me directly to that which I have misplaced. Guest guest
Hey ; I appreciated your input. I, too, take supplements in both liquid and chewy candy form so that pills don't get stuck on the way down. Among my supplements, I drink Isopuke diluted. I'm at and maintaining my goal range so it;s working. And if what you're doing is working for you and others you know, I say fantastic. It's always good to hear what others are doing. Take care. Guest guest
Hello everyone, Ive not posted in a pretty long time but I do read the post everyday. I find it interesting to hear of peoples stories and appreciate that everyone can post their own opinions about supplements, recipes, the what I did's, for problems that creep up, just in general stories, that may help someone that is looking for that answer. Its never hurt anyone to listen to an opinion. I too, take a nutritional drink that I absolutely love. I'm not here to push or sell anyone on it, but to simply give my story. I love knowing that my everyday nutritional intake is being taken care of with only 4oz of juice a day. 13 times the recommended fruit and vegetables to keep a healthy body. The knowing that the free radicals that I intake with every breath I take is being absorbed and flushed out of my system. Since I had my band over a year ago, I have been wanting to be more health conscience and this nutritional drink is MY answer. Although I would highly recommend it. If anyone would like more information about what I do for nutrition, Id be glad to share. You can email me at lgr00_00@.... Best of health to everyone!!! Guest guest
Hi Mike I sure hope you are getting the upper hand on your divorce and hope you get custody of your children or child. I have been there done that, I hatted it. Mine was 16 years ago when everything went to the wife (3 houses, I got to keep the forth one because I just built it and still owed everything on it, never have recovered for the losses, still broke and now body broke) even if she left you for another women. At least now days they will listen to the father. Sorry you are going through it. May your ex be blessed with RSD for putting you through this. Keep your chin up we are her for you? Guest guest
Hi Mike, I'm new to the group. I am 25 months post implant to control the RSD in my left foot. The RSD has started to move up my leg so we've just completed two nerve blocks. My challenge is to control the endless pain and burning to keep my job. I lost one because I was unable to travel as a regional manager. I am battling, in addition, a law suit against the contractor who had not repaired a crosswalk and where I fell. My medical bills are approaching $280K and yet the defensive states I have an imaginary disease and that it's all made up and in my head. Talk about frustrating and depressing. When will RSD and the treatment of it with pain pumps be accepted as sound medical practice. I strongly believe I would be in a mental institution without my pump. Guest guest
Hi Kerrie I know how depressing it is to be told that your pain " is in your head " You know the pain and limitations are real, but others are telling you it's not. I can't count how many drs told me this until I finally found the one that diagnosed me and treats me now. Slowly RSD is being recognized as a real disease. In NY it's on the books as a disabilty for Social Security Disability. From what people write in, they are being diagnosed sooner, but there are too many medical professionals that  still have to learn about RSD. Achilles (the organization for people with disabilites) recognized RSD as a disability about 5 yrs ago. RSD is an orphan disease that needs alot more research and awareness. j Unfortunately, the other side would rather blame you than accept responsibiltly for not repairing the crosswalk. By claiming you're not really in pain, don't really have a disease, it lets them off the hook. Your lawyer has to prove to them that you really do have a disease called RSD that causes horrific pain. Maybe the rep could adjust the stim since the RSD is moving up the leg. An adjustment might help reduce the pain and burning. If this doesn't help, maybe they can add another lead. Guest guest
I miss read your post, I thought you were going to get it done in the near future. but you have already had the surgery on the 15th. well you are in the early post op phase., take your medication on time and do your PT that you are allowed to do, I am guessing you are in a sling for 6-8 weeks right? I am 2 months post op, Jeff recently had a fall and fractured his scapula near the prosthesis.he had his done about 6-8 months ago, not sure, but he is waiting to get the other done.
