Well I may as well have saved my breath. He was running like 20 minutes late...

So he wasn't in the slightest bit interested.

Gave me my referral to the Surgeon re-hip and had a quick look at the movement

in the shoulder, then said yes you mAy have torn the rotator cuff, leave it for

a couple of weeks and see if it settles, Hello I have done that for the last 2

weeks.

so I am a bit ticked off and I can't be bothered, I will leave it for a few

weeks and then go see the shoulder surgeon, when I see the hip guy in May.

It may well get better on its own.hoping it does as I am really done with

surgeons at the moment.

Hi ,

That's too bad that he wasn't interested. No excuse for that.

Can you raise your arm at all? I wonder what they do for a torn rotator cuff

with a replaced shoulder. If it's the same surgery as if normal shoulder.

Update on my shoulder; saw surgeon yesterday, no more sling and let's see if I

can tolerate the pain and decreased rom. If not then surgery. Well after 5 weeks

in sling it's fairly weak and every movement hurts. He said give it a week or

so. It looks to me as I'm bound for another surgery.

Take care,

Jeff

Hi , I hate it when doctors give you the brush off like that. Can you call

the shoulder surgeon? I understand that he is quite far away. Other than that,

I hope it is not constant pain. Sleeping might be tough. Just what you don't

need.

All the best, Joan

imagine something happening to my almost 6 month old hip and

needing surgery again so soon. Big hugs to you both. BARB in Florida
