Hi Angie, My scar was purple a long time. I just looked, and it seems purple

this morning!

I am not sure what you mean by electrical shocks, but even after 1 1/2 years, my

knee is still numb and feels strange. In the blog we have called this the Ace

bandage effect. It does not prevent me from full activity.

At three months I was still having pain and really bad spikes of pain at times.

This may be what you mean. I have little pain now. Just discomfort. But, as

many on the blog know, I play tennis and hike.

Hang in there! It should be all uphill from here!

I also have something weird going on ...

I have never ever had this..when I straighten my leg I get an awful pain behind

my knee this is new to me only had it the last 2 days might be something to do

with weighf distribution no idea ..

What happens when a knee replacement goes wrong??

Hi , I think some people have been talking about that. Might you have a

Baker's cyst??? They are benign, I am told, but can be painful.

pt told me the reason my knee in the back hurts is its trying to retrain the

tendons. He said with my knee so bad for so many years I was probably walking

bull legged so the tendons shortened. Now shes working on the back of the knee

to lengthen the tendons,,, ouch. linda in montana

Go for it! Whatever you do, keep with the PT and exercise!

Joan, yes I think that's what it is. I am a bit paranoid at the moment with

the joints all going downhill at once, and this knee is 12 years the hip 15

I think its fine, its just me being silly.

No , not silly. After all you have gone through, you are allowed to be

concerned.

Try not to worry. It just makes it harder to sleep.
