Guest guest
I'm 49 and had my right hip replaced in July and it is coming along pretty well. I still walk with a slight limp and have a little pain when I first wake up but that fades after a bit. This coming Monday I'm having my left hip replaced and have to say I'm not looking forward to it. The initial pain is still fresh in my mind, the waking up from surgery with the feeling that someone has smashed me in the hip with a hammer, the shakes, catheter, all of it. I would probably put it off but I have to get back to work by next March due to my insurance and disability kind of decreasing to the point where it will be a financial hardship to continue. I'm just feeling a little low and had to vent a bit. Wish me luck.
