I can't remember the pounds, I am thinking 20 pounds. You shouldn't lift anything heavier than 20 pounds and that was for 6 weeks. I know they said don't vacuum for 3 weeks. I loved it --because my sweetie was wonderful about that and did it for me. He also loaded and unloaded the dishwasher for me too.

Take care,

Suzanne

Hi! I am going to have the surgery done, but I need to coordinate it with my schedule. Are there any lifting/activity restrictions after the surgery? If there are, what are they and for how long? Thanks, Chrysi

I

thought it was 8 lbs., nothing heavier than a gallon of milk.

Nothing to it... becomes second nature for a short time, I don't have any

restrictions now.

Except jumping out of planes which I wouldn't have done any way.

You heed restrictions if you have to.........remember that the

incision in another area causes different feelings in the thigh so

you remember to things 'right'....... and I had our replacements

done one day apart.........she was braver than me because she had

been through the procedure before. it was all new to me so I was

more cautious.......BARB in Florida
