Guest guest
In winter I often get dry skin on my forehead. Can I apply pure coconut oil on my face every day during the winter ? I use shaving oils that I purchase at the health food store. Besides their cost they could be rancid. Would coconut oil be suitable for shaving ? Guest guest
, I'd investigate a fatty acid deficiency, usually DHA and EPA. I never use shaving cream or gel myself. Coconut oil would work, aloe skin gel works well, and my favourite is aloe vera and alcohol hand sanitizer. all good, Duncan > > In winter I often get dry skin on my forehead. Guest guest
Duncan, It could be a fatty acid deficiency altho more likely is that its the cold winter winds and outdoor sports that are taking their toll. Aloe also sounds good. So between coconut oil and aloe I should be able to do away with store bought shaving oils which may be of questionable quality. Thanks for the infos. > > > > In winter I often get dry skin on my forehead. Guest guest
Hi My favorite for dry skin is Emu Oil and you can shave with it - I know of no better oil for the skin, Wonderful stuff! And yes, It is made from Emus birds. Not sure how it's made - Possibly cold pressed, with the birds rounded up into vast hydraulic presses or perhaps more likely (CFE) Cross-flow-Emu filtration Anyway its highly recommended - the Ebay seller I purchase it from in the UK has a great explanation of its benefits on his page. http://item.ly/350441276841 C > > > In winter I often get dry skin on my forehead.
