If I read this correctly it says not to apply a bandage to restrict lymph

flow???

As far as I know, this is still the recommended treatment in Australia - we

regularly have talks on the treatment of snake bite, although it's probably

18 months since I've been to one. I thought it was important to restrict

the flow of venom through the lymph system. I've read a few times that

children died who might otherwise have lived because they panicked and ran

to get help. We've told our children to lay down and not move while

someone else goes for help - in summer they're not allowed to wander far

unless they are in pairs.
