Last year when I was recovering I tried to do some cross stitch that I am wont

to do. Most of it went into the trash!

Subject: A bit of pain med whimsy

Just a bit of whimsy. I'm an avid crocheter, and do it primarily to

relax. So especially when the pain of healing is getting to me, I take

my pain meds and pick up a crochet hook and some yarn.

The problem with this, is that the pain meds make me really loopy

stoned. I've been ending up with the most unusual and fun crocheted

hats! Totally original designs that all my friends and family are

loving - I just have no idea how I made them!

Hi Lori

I tried to do some crochet too - not having done any for some years I had to

relearn it, and found that I was unable to concentrate on it, so I gave up.
