Guest guest
- Stop accepting mediocre care for an answer! If your child had the same issue, would you allow this type of brush-off? If you belong to an HMO, there are means to appeal, pursue another referral to an orthopedic surgeon and have your shoulder evaluated. The longer you allow a rotator cuff to remain untreated, the less they will be able to do with it. SO get on the phone to your HMO and ask for another referral! And if you have a PPO or Medicare, your option is to open the phone book or ask your hip surgeon for a shoulder surgeon. This allows you direct access!! But just sitting and waiting is not going to afffect your GP...it affects you! And that is unacceptable! Alisa Curry PT DPT Site Moderator > > Well I may as well have saved my breath.
