I just wanted to say that I know Reidelbach personally,

although not a close friend. She is truly principled and an

incredibly hard worker.

For those of us concerned with autism, this is an important issue.

While we may disagree with some treatments and therapies people use,

we know that there has not been a single answer from the medical

establishment. Moreover, parents I have known have told me about the

effectiveness of certain treatments for their kids, stuff that I

previously ridiculed as being wacko. I guess they made me more

humble that I don't have the answer any more than the establishment

does.

believes that people should be allowed to make their own

decisions and when government or specialist interests stand in the

way, then everybody loses.

Please thoughtfully consider the request Sondra passed on to us. And

bless you, Sondra, you are so fair and make so much sense, even when

I disagree with you.

We are all different, like our kids are, and yet we share some very

precious thing in common.
