Guest guest
Please help! I'm a month post op having my knee replaced. I am so uncomfortable...the knee doesn't want to be up on the recliner, but it doesn't want to be down on the floor. I can walk around and instead of loosening up, it stiffens up, especially the back of the knee. I think I have what you can laughingly call " heebie jeebies " . Standing still is definitely not recommended. I'm exercising...especially when I can't take it anymore. My PT thinks the back of the knee strain is from the tourniquet...but a month later, it's still bothering me? I have some swelling, one spot in particular has had no change since surgery. I have a new kneecap, too, I guess it's like a button (probably would feel pretty odd to try to kneel on even when I'm further down the road.) I'm trying to wean off pain pills, but do take one at night when I have the nasty night pains and before my PT. Otherwise, I'm trying Tylenol. At this point, I'm thinking Valium is more the thing! ) Please, someone, let me know if this is common or what!!! Thanks, Lynn LTHR Oct 09 RTKR Mar 11 Life itself is the proper binge. - Child Visit my art blog: http://adreamseyeview.blogspot.com/
