Guest guest
Peggy, I feel the same way you do about Dr. Mercola, I have learned a lot from him but don't actually buy his supplements as they are very expensive. One thing I have learned reading his column and Natural News as well as reading The Magnesium Miracle by Dr. Carolyn Dean is that most of us are deficient in Magnesium due to low levels in the soil now. Your issue with vitamin D and calcium are most likely because you don't take magnesium. In fact Dr. Dean doesn't much recommend calcium because we do tend to get enough of that in our diets. The kidney stones can be a real result of too much calcium not enough magnesium! It's fascinating. I feel so much better now that I take slow release (jigsaw) magnesium. I used to have lots of muscle aches, foot problems etc and don't now. a http://www.naturalnews.com/029195_magnesium_vitamin_D.html http://members.upnaway.com/~poliowa/Magnesium%20-%20a%20Miracle.html http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2004/08/07/miracle-magnesium.\ aspx
