Guest guest
Dear Friend of ASO: We received this email as the convener of the Ohio Autism Coalition. I spoke with Ms. Royce and explained that the OAC did not have "faculty" and described what the organization was about. She asked if I would post this information to our Ohio groups as a "call for speakers" for the seminar. So - please share this information with any professionals that might be interested in speaking. They should contact Ms. Royce directly using the information provided following my signature. Sincerely, Barbara C. YavorcikPresidentAutism Society of Ohio701 S. We sponsor continuing education seminars in the U.S. and Canada. I would like to invite one or more of your faculty from the Ohio Autism Coalition to speak at a seminar entitled "Understanding Individuals With Asperger Syndrome Or High-Functioning Autism" which will be held in Toledo in January 2006. In addition to this being an excellent marketing opportunity for potential clients, it also allows the speakers to obtain continuing education credit. There is no charge to the speaker, however we do offer an honorarium and also travel reimbursement depending on location. I have tentatively scheduled the program for Tuesday, January 24th, 2006, however the date within January is quite flexible depending on your schedule for that month. Please let me know if you might be interested in participating as a speaker and I will forward you further information, including a sample agenda of past seminars on this topic to review and a letter outlining our seminar procedures. If you have a recommendation of someone else to contact about this speaking opportunity I would greatly appreciate their contact information.Thank you and I hope to hearing back from you soon.
