The Miracle League of Central Ohio is a baseball league created for children ages 3-21 with any type of physical and/or mental disability. This league is special because it has built in aids and the participants will play on a brand new field designed specifically for children with disabilities. The field itself is a specially made synthetic surface that will support players with any type of a disability including those who use any type of a mobile device, players who are visually impaired and players who may fall frequently.

We are looking for any child with a disability, no matter how severe, ages 3-21 to play in this league. Children are paired with an able bodied “Buddy†who will assist the player on an as needed basis during the game. Players do not have to know how to play baseball to participate. They just have to love the outdoors and want to play ball.

Please consider signing your child up for this league. This league has enjoyed overwhelming success in every city where a Miracle League field has been built. We are proud to bring this opportunity to central Ohio. When the field, located in Dublin, is completed in August, it will be the first field of its kind in Ohio and will serve players in all of Central Ohio. Next to the baseball field there will be a fully handicapped accessible playground with a raised sandbox as one of its highlights.

To sign up for The Miracle League as a player, buddy, coach, or team mom, or to gather more information, please check out our website at www.ohiomiracleleague.org or contact Christy Henegan at 614-789-9810 or christyhenegan@.... The league begins at the end of August and players can sign up until the middle of August. “Because every child deserves the chance to play ball!â€
