Carol,

What are your thoughts about whether to remain permantly on Klonopin or

take drug holidays every 6-12 months? I know many Drs. such as Bell

suggest a drug holiday of 2-3 weeks every year from this drug. How does

Cheney handle this? I heard from someone else that he does not recommend

ever going off the drug. Doesn't he find that patients have to slowly

continue to increase their dosage then? THANKS a MILLION for your

continued posts to the list. -E

Dr. Bell suggests this only if it is being used primarily as a sleep aide so

you won't have to keep increasing it. When used to control swizure activity,

he does not suggest going off at all and only upping the dose if the seizure

activity is not adaquately controlled.

Robin, you always have a lot of good points :0)...I would like to add to the

last digest about doctors, drugs and parasites.

Fact is drugs actually cause a mutation of the parasite, and though they may

work first time around, the infestation comes back, usually much

stronger...beware!!!

Thanks for the note Diane...things will be crazy I'm sure. We had all the

test done up to amnio. We had blood and a genetic ultrasound. Those both

indicate this baby is totally healthy. We figure even if he does have Ds, he

is totally healthy and we wouldn't abort due to Ds....The slight risks amnio

carries made us nervous.

Congratulations!

You can go to the website and print them off. You could just print the

email you receive. I copy and paste things I want to save to Word and take

out all the stuff I don't want to print. Just a suggestion.

Elma:

On your post you neglected to mention the date of the second annual bbq.

Would you be kind enough to post the date? I am sure you posted previously, but

I neglected to write the date down. August seemed like a long way off, but it

is almost here.

Thanks.

Hello Ken,

I have difficulties sprouting pea because of mold, but when I succeeded I

eaten it raw and it taste marvelous. And there were no problems like pain or

intoxication. It's simple the best food.

I think there are really few grains/beans that you have to cook, like black

beans.

Good luck!

I can give you a lot of information on sinusitis - I have had my share of

treatments and surgeries. I am familiar with Medrol and Ciflox. I am on

vacation this week and I have limited access to email and the web. When I

return I will resume my full time job - editing and writing content for

www.sinusgroup.org - I decided to develop the website because this condition

affects so many, is so debilitating and because the sinus community (medical

and patients) is so fragmented I think it would serve all of use if we could

have all of the information in one place. My members are from all over

(UK and

Australia) looking for the same thing.

hello, I have posted numinous time on this subject ,I believe that fungal

sinusitis is a symptom of a fungal systemic infection & if you have fungi

downgrading your IS you have co-infections also ..Couple of sites

Have you been tested for bb (lyme), chlamydia, mycoplasma, etc. These

cell wall deficient (stealth) organisms can cause chronic sinusitis

as well as the others and most docs won't look for them. I was told

by my ent that I was in the 5% category of sufferers that antibiotics

won't help, but then come to find out that I have mycoplasma and only

long term bacteriostatic antibiotics, with the exception of the new

telithromycin, will be effective.
