Guest guest
Hi, Welcome to the Bilateral TKR club. The sleep pain lasts well into the 2nd year, where I am right now. I get around it by placing a fluffy pillow between my knees when I sleep or placing between the bad knee and the bed if I'm sleeping on my side or stomach. The pain gets better and better as time goes on. Keep the faith, we've been through the worst, even most doctors agree that BTKR's are the most painful operations to recover from. Guest guest
2 Years, thanks for the encouraging words.lol. only kidding. I must admit not being able to sleep in bed was a surprise. I went to bed this morning about 3:00am and I believe things were a little better but not where I want them but this being my 5th week makes me know things will get better. Thanks JJ > > > > hi i had my bilateral tkr in mid nov, i can now walk without support > > thank god most of the time except for some bad days off and on. but the > > problem is tha i have pain in my knee when i sleep on my side and one > > knee is placed on the other. anyone else goes through this? any > > remedies? > > >
