Thanks --------------------------------------- Hi Diane, Sounds like kitty has some definite internal damage. I might suggest, if it isn't already too late, that you and the kids gently life kitty in your hands and all of you pray over kitty and allow God to assist. I am not sure that the tinctures are a good thing as cats livers do not process toxins like ours do. The alcohol may be doing more damage than helping. I am not certain of this as I am not a vet but that would be my thoughts anyhow. Maybe a little cayenne in some water or milk would be better. God will know how to take care of kitty and the prayers from you and the children will help alot. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Thanks, Don. I appreciate your help, very much! Prayer is the 1st thing we did after it happened and I'm glad you suggested it. It was an important thing for the kids to do. And I know that God answers prayer and it is His answers that we depend on. I agree with you on the alcohol, I hadn't thought of that problem yet. Do you think it would work to put the tincture in some hot water to evaporage the alcohol out of it? Or maybe leave some out in the open air for a little bit to evaporate it out? I will also try it in milk as we will try to give her some of that today. So far we have only given her water to try to keep her hydrated. It has to be forced down her with a dropper as she wont take it on her own. Her urine was real bloody yesturday but now this morning it is more watery and less bloody. When she poops there seems to be less blood there too. It was bad yesturday. And she isn't crying as loud. I'm not sure if the less crying is from weakness or what but she is still in a lot of pain and straining when she goes. Thanks again, Don. I really appreciate your help and suggestions. This will drive off the alcohol and leave the goodies in the water. Do you have any Yarrow? Chamomile? You might infuse some if you do and after letting it cool give her some of that. It will help her quite a bit too. Try not to feed her any solid food that will result in pooping. Or maybe liquify some food for her and give it to her by dropper fulls. She will probably do better on just liquids and maybe the Yarrow or chamomile tea. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. Guest guest
Thanks, Don! Yeah you're right! Yarrow was called soldier's woundwort during the civil war as I recall reading someplace. Do you use the flowers or the leaves or both? It just so happens that it's growing in the yard wild and flowering right now. I don't know if it is the correct variety but, if so, we can give that a try too. She just drank about half and ounce of water (with a small amount of milk in it) out of a bowl my daughter gave her, on her own. She wouldn't do that earlier so maybe she is going to get better. I should remember these things and normally I probably would but, my son's stepson tried to commit suicide Friday and I have had a lot on my mind. This little boy - 8 years old- was put on anti-psychotics (2 different kinds); depakote 3 x a day (as a mood stabilizer) and some drug called triliptol (sp?) and has been a basketcase for about 2 years. Right now he is back in the children's mental hospital that he was in before. diane in nw mt ----- Original Message ----- From: Don Quai health Sent: Sunday, June 27, 2004 2:06 PM Subject: Re: kitten hurt bad RDAugustine wrote:> Thanks, Don. Good herb to have. Dang psycho's and their drugs. Find comfort in what goes around comes around. The pharmaceutical industries and doctors who knowingly prescribe these dangerous toxins will reap that which they have so generously sown. Your son and his family will be in my prayers especially that young child lying in a hospital. Do take care and keep us posted on his health and recovery will you? -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
