Guest guest
Hi What exactly is wrong with the knee replacement you had done in 2009? I'm concerned for you and curious for myself as I too had a RTKR in 2009. Sally
Guest guest
I have alot of swelling in knee and the range of motion is less than 100 degrees. The knee is very painful and very stiff. I have had alot of problems. The knee is warmer to the touch. Could not find any infection. Dr admitted the surgery did not go as well as it should have. I am going to get a 2nd opinion. From: Pimentel7@... <Pimentel7@...> Subject: Re: knee revision after original TKR done in July 2... Guest guest
No that was not suggested. The orginial dr does not to the revision. But I don't trust him. We had it out last when I asked him to look at my other knee and he said no. Last Jan 2010 he demmed the TKR a success. He can take a long walk off a short pier. Of course I am not a professional but I would have thought that putting another in, is only going to make the stiffness and swelling worse not better. And therefore the likelihood of a better rage of movement is lessened, I would be interested to know what others think on this issue. Unless there is good reason to remove a joint, say for infection, its not going to help you. I'd be more inclined to find out why the joint you have isn't a success as you don't want to go through it all over again and not get the benefit from it... Have you had a manipulation under anaesthetic at all.? -- Re: knee revision after original TKR done in July 2... I have alot of swelling in knee and the range of motion is less than 100 degrees.
