I had a home birth & had to send $9 for each copy of my daughter's birth certificate along w/a form my midwife gave me that had to be notarized. I received her birth certificate in the mail. If I'm right here, just because I didn't have a copy of the birth certificate doesn't mean the State wasn't aware of the birth. Maybe would know more about that issue. I got a card from Governor Jane Hull before I got her birth certicate or social security number. It was an Ambassador greeting card congratulating me on the birth w/a message to " make sure I kept on schedule w/vaccinations " & included a vaccination chart for me to write the dates, etc. on. Her husband is a Doctor so she knows how important vaccinations are. Give me a break!! I know who to vote against next election. Of course, probably all politicians are the same on that issue. They'd probably be assassinated for publicly speaking otherwise. Anyway, back to the point of social security numbers. I did not want my daughter to get a soc. sec. # because I did not want her to be tracked by the govt. I did not get one until I was 15 1/2 & got a job. They needed my social security number to hire me so I got one. There is no reason I can think of that my daughter needs one. However, my finace's Grandmother said she needed my daughter's soc. sec. # in order to purchase bonds for her on holidays such as birthday & Christmas. That is her customary gift to her grandchildren. When I was a child my Grandfather did the same for me & he obviously did not need my soc. sec. # because I DIDN'T HAVE ONE. Although I could do w/o her presents if that's what it takes I went ahead & got her a soc. sec. # because talking to some people is useless. BUT, I have not given it to any of her doctors. On our first visits to her primary pediatrician she did not have a soc. sec. # & I have not given it to them & do not plan on it. The 2 doctors she has been to since do not have it either. Of course they have mine because of insurance but I do not know if the govt. would go so far as to trace her through my #. I suppose anything is possible though. Guest guest
tonya, your fiance's grandmother can just use her own ss# to purchase bonds--i've done this many times whne i do not have one of my nieces # with me when i order them. this is probably what your grandfather did. the only reason you would need one at this time. is to claim your child as an exemption on your taxes--i believe you can claim children during their first year without the ss#, but after that you need it to continue to use them as an exemption. hope this helps ) brigit

Guest guest
thanks for the tought of hope, there are times when nathan is a happy huggy, social boy, mainly at home, but even at home it comes and goes, i try to make it a point tonot let him wander off from the family choice activity,to be alone and self stim, I'm considering taking a leave of abence from work, so I wont be soo tired as i am allthe time now. Work keeps scheduling me mega hours and with my boys schedule, and nathan's behavior, illnesses, plus nicholas needs work with his subtaction and reading, we dont read together as often anymore, I'm too tired, and my boys will only be this age once. My spouse said it was up to me, dont know, maybe just every other weekend i will work, am thinking real hard, just know i cant keep going like this. As for the xmas program me hubby and me discussed it and are pulling him, and are going to have soe changes made at school, breaking down his music time and to his level so he can enjoy as he does at home. I cant beleive its come to this, all his other classes adapt the class activities for him, the class is doing an activity and they have broken down steps or an appropriate related activity, dont understand why if he's been having soo many probs in music class, he never use to, that they didnt change anything, or even tell me at his IEP meeting last week. But keep him in prayers, that he revives his love of music. shawna. Guest guest
For all who replied to my questions a week ago regarding acne breakouts - Thankyou! It was great advice.. I have reduced my zapping and black walnut doses and my skin has relaxed a bit. I'm eat alot more fresh fruits and vegetables. Unfortunately, I have never been very good about doing that.. I, like many, relied on the strength of my youth and stubbornly continued my predominantly fast food/high processed diet (hey - its convenient!) until now that I am facing 40 and its all catching up on me. I never had ANY health problems (other than acne, which I thought was just youthful hormones) until my very late 20's. It was almost ten years ago that I began to notice excessive abdominal bloating and gas. Of course, I had no idea what brought it on. It was probably all those years growing up drinking whole milk like it was water finally taking their toll! My parents used to threaten they would have to buy a cow to keep up with me. Lots of ice cream too. UGH. Just the thought of what i have done to my poor intestinal track makes me sick. I know this must sound silly but I keep imagining my little white blood cells cheering as they see the stuff I am NOW putting into my body - fruits, veggies, WATER, black walnut, BOILED milk!, not to mention zapping. The little troopers must be wondering if they died and went to heaven.. at last!.. reinforcements have arrived! Hooray!! Sorry. Sometimes my imagination gets the best of me. Thanks again everybody. Cya! Joni __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Hey there. I am a mommy to twin boys, 4, Austin ds and Dakota. I get a lot of questions, too. Like, Are they identical? That is one of my favorite. I sometimes say, why, yes, they are...And I am really tired of people NOT believing they are twins. Like, at a restaurant, when kids under a certain age eat free, and we say they are both 4, and nobody believes it...The world can be pretty pigheaded...At least Dakota proudly announces that Austin is his twin, and they are 4... Guest guest
That's wonderful news! I am so happy for you. What a relief it must be! Another friend had that happen to her, and she's just been thrilled over it. Ask as many questions as you can for your husband. I think men just like to stick their heads into the ground where their health is concerned. So, this wife takes care of all of " that stuff " . Sounds like the doc knows his stuff. It'll all be over before you know it--then treatment can begin. God bless you, Suzy > Okay Group, went to the Dr. yesterday GI...He said my number was 615 that > my virus was undetectable. But he said come back in 6 months to get > retested..He said either I had a false positive or I was exposed at one > time and it didnt go any further...My husbands viral load test didnt > come back yet! Guest guest
Here are my 2 cents worth for these questions. 1. What is your geographical location? (city/country) Live in rural Alberta, Canada 2. How severe are your ES symptoms? I.e. do you consider your ES merely irritating, or has it seriously impacted your productivity and quality of life? I consider it a huge impact, I have trouble interacting in the 'real' world. I'm fine if I stay far, far away from any electricity. Traveling is difficult, so is working, shopping. Optional: 3. What factors do you identify as contributing to your ES? (e.g. heavy metal toxicity, proximity to cell phone towers, heavy metal toxicity) Over dose of electricity - I just to work in a place just feet away from a huge ground based transformer and a fridge in the room. Then there was a lot of loose current from an incorrectly wired stock waterer where I live. I find fridges are the worst for me, but telephone, and all other electrical things do bother me. I find that I am bothered by the furnace (Natural gas) I get hot all up and down my body before it turns on. 4. What other serious health issues are you experiencing besides ES? (direct relationship to ES need not be established) I find that exposure makes my muscles very sore and hard. My body retains fluid in an effort to protect it's self. Which of course hurts. Major migraines which I have had not since removing a surge protector from under my bed. I live within sight of six cell phone towers but I can't really determine if they add to the problem or not. (likely they do) I can 'feel' when I am getting close to over head power lines - pain in the stomach and in the lower back. I have a raw esophagus which medication does not help but being in less electricity does. Hope this will help. Being rural is no help, electricity is here too. I would like to move somewhere there is no power but- much to my surprise - there aren't any places that do not have electricity! Good luck to all of us Judy
Guest guest
Hello Judy, you wrote: > I find that I am bothered by the furnace (Natural gas) I get hot all up > and > down my body before it turns on. I have found on some gas furnaces with electrical switches for igniting the flames taht they may give a large magnetic AC field, when the line is not grounded. So, you may try and disconnect the electrical cord from the wall plug and see if the furnace still hinders you.
