Guest guest
I have been reading the posts here for about a year and had a total knee replacement done on my right leg last October. My husband has come to the point where he has decided that it is time for him to have a knee replacement done. We met with the same surgeon that I used on Monday and he is scheduled for June 15 but the surgeon said he needed to get medical clearance before the surgery. He was asking my husband who his cardiologist was. As of yet he does not have a heart condition but he is 68 years old and had been probably 20 lbs overweight for most of his like. This was a new term to me and was something that I did not have to do. My daughter is a pharmacist and she is saying that he may need a stress test. Please comment on what medical clearance means.
