Guest guest
Yes I will Jeff, I do have a rotator cuff this side hence the normal shoulder replacement. It does feel like an impingement, not a full tear. which I have now had for over 2 weeks, I would have thought if it was overuse then it would have settled down by now. Its a 3 hour drive each way to see him, so I want to make sure there is something I need to see him about. I might get the scan done and it proves to be nothing in which case I will feel a proper idiot for wasting his time. So I will see GP tomorrow, if he isn't interested then I will go see the surgeon. I do still get weird pains in the other shoulder that doesn't have the rotator cuff, but that operation was a Disaster, in that I can't use it very well at all.... Its okay if its close to me and no higher than my shoulder. Even getting it to shoulder height is a mammoth task. Oh the JOYS !!!!! any way more importantly how are you doing now? xx - Re: I need some advice. Hi , Sorry reply so late. I had a vey similar experience with my shoulder after the replacement and fortunately it was nothing but a slight setback from overuse I had exactly the same type of pain and couldn't lift my arm at all. I went back to os who did an x-ray and everything was fine. A few days later the pain was gone and I was back to being pain free. Of course I have no rotator cuff so it couldn't be an impingement. All that being said I think you should call the os as soon as you can and go see him. Good luck, Jeff ------------------------------------
